I'm finding this blog site confusing. I thought I had it fixed so my columns went to a separate blog. Doesn't work. It did at first. I just don't know.
Another problem with my dream of a family connected is that some people don't want their blogs open to anyone but their close family, they are afraid of bad guys getting access to pictures of their children. I just don't know about what kind of danger that is. anyway it will be too cumbersome to get it to work the way I thought. Each person would have to get permission to access the sites that is tightly protected. That would mean having a username and password for that site. Too complicated.
At this point, I'm discouraged.

We did have a very successful reunion. Especially did the little kids have fun. The dance that Sat. night was great with Daddy's dancing with daughters, etc. I've been thinking about why the whole reuinion was so good. Probably one reason was that everyone was bedded comfortably with easy access to good bathroom. Louis's family was in their new cabin--the one they are desperate to sell at the lake. The people size was good. About 70 people. Kids about the same age, which was under 10 or 12 mostly. We all age together and had wonderful food prepared by Karen's family. They served it out of their garage, which was protected from sun, wind and rain. I think the tradition of just plane having it the same time each year is good to start. If you come, you come. If not, life goes on.
The ranch was glorious. There is a great value in having a piece of earth that holds so much family history and which is just for you.
